We are currently developing a DIY hardware Bitcoin wallet. In terms of financial problems, it is quite useless because this module is more costly than other modules available in the market. However, it is my belief that useless and unnecessary activities can open doors to new culture and interesting stories in this world.

Because I have created the hardware wallet myself, it is more difficult to hack than other hardware wallets in stock.

In the security industry, it is foolish to say that a certain module is impossible to hack, therefore I will not use the word impossible because I am not stupid.

Security devices available today have defense mechanism only defined within a threat model. The definition of threat model can be found at:

In an external environment, threat model doesn't provide complete security due to its vulnerability. People aren't gods, therefore they are prone to make mistakes.

Advantages of making hardware wallets DIY

1. You can configure and change the interface or GUI based on the open source available

2. The source code is an open source, therefore if it is hacked, it can be patched

3. Everyone can share. If there is a backdoor in the code, it will surface within time. The internet is open to the world, and nothing can be hidden

4. Creating your own hardware wallet is a lot of fun. I had a lot of fun creating it myself

7. Experienced software engineers can participate in creating high-level exchanges
